In this day and age, it's easy to forget that the only real thing that matters is your relationship with Jesus Christ. When you truly know that He is your Savior and Lord, you will be free to rejoice in all of the blessings that He has bestowed upon you. So take the time to thank Him for His love and sacrifice. When you're stressed out or facing a major decision, go to your bedroom, turn on some worship music and start lifting Him up. Sing His name, declare His goodness and glory — just lift Him up! In a matter of minutes, you'll notice your anxiety diminishing and a sense of joy coming back.
When you serve the Lord with gladness, it's because you recognize that He has a good plan for your life. It's the joy that comes from being fully understood by Him and accepted by Him. It's the joy of knowing that He knows you and sees your strengths, weaknesses, fears, and dreams. He's the One who cares about you and the only One who can truly satisfy your heart. He's the only One who can give you true happiness, and that's a wonderful thing to realize!
